Sending your URL to Capsuleer – Using Email

Gmail

  1. Compose a new email and address it an email account you can access from your iPhone/iPod Touch (Figure 1)

  2. Click the “Add Link” icon (Figure 2)

  3. Enter your Capsuleer URL in the “To what URL should this link go?” text box. (Figure 3)
    Note: the “Text to display:” text box can contain anything. This is what will show up in your email for you to click on. You can just leave it the same as the “To what URL should this link go?” text box.

  4. Send this email to your iPhone/iPod Touch
  5. Touch the link on your device to launch Capsuleer and begin adding Characters from your EVE Online account

Hotmail

  1. Compose a new email and address it to an email account you can access from your iPhone/iPod Touch (Figure 1)

OSX Mail.app

  1. Ensure that Mail is set to use Rich Text when composing messages. You can do this by going to Mail’s preferences and then to the the Composing tab. Check to ensure Message Format is set to Rich Text. (Figure 1)

  3. Right click in the message’s body and choose the Link->Add.. menu. (figure 3)

  4. Enter your Capsuleer URL into the text box. Note: Mail won’t let you use the evechar:// url as it tries to vaidate the entered URL. You will need to use the http://capsuleer.evesuite.com/api/add URL(Figure 4)

  5. Send this email to your iPhone/iPod Touch
  6. Touch the link on your device to launch Capsuleer and begin adding Characters from your EVE Online account
