Post Dominion skill points showing incorrectly

We have been tracking reports from a number of users about their skill points being displayed incorectly. After some investigation it seams that the API is returning incorrect numbers. A number of users have submitted bug reports to CCP and have received responses saying that CCP knows about the issue and is working on it.
Sadly I don’t have any more information available at this time, but as soon as I know more I’ll be sure to pass it on.

Thy Dominion Comeith…

As CCP deploys Dominion remember that with the API down Capsuleer will have problems refreshing your existing characters and adding new characters.
Another side effect of the way that CCP brings the server up is that Capsuleer will show the server online and with pilots, but you won’t be able to actually log in untill CCP release the client patch and open the server for public access.
Headlines should continue to work so you might want to take this opportunity to give a new blog a read :-)

Been a while since we’ve blogged about v2.1 development.
Just wanted to take a moment and reassure everyone that design and development is well under way, and while I won’t go into exactly what to expect in this next major version, I do want to let everyone know that it will definitely be a significant update to functionality, as well as multiple enhancements to existing functionality.
We have a timeframe in mind, but will not announce until closer, as we prefer to be thorough in our bug testing, ensuring a quality product for all.

API Outage September 19th Weekend
Posted on September 18, 2009
Filed Under Announcements | Comments Off
From the CCP forums:
The EVE API will be disabled this weekend on Saturday, September 19 at approximately 14:00 UTC. We will enable it again on Monday, September 21 during the scheduled downtime. We are disabling the EVE API to minimize the risk of any issues on Tranquility during the Alliance Tournament.
What this means is that Capsuleer will not be able to retrieve current Pilot data this coming weekend.
So please, sync up everything you need ahead of time so you can enjoy Capsuleer all weekend long!

2.0.3? 2.0.4? Where did copy and paste go?

Incase you haven’t noticed yet the new Copy and Paste feature that has been talked about for adding your pilots to Capsuleer has mysteriously disappeared from the change log for the 2.0.3 release that just showed up on the App Store.
I’ll let you in on the secret. Its not a mystery. I removed it cause I managed to break that feature.
:-(
Sorry about that. I made a change to make sure OS 2.2.1 was still working with the new changes to support copy and paste and I failed to fully test on OS 3.0 again after that. Net result, non functioning copy and paste support in OS 3.0.
I have submitted 2.0.4 to Apple and will venture to speed that release along as quickly as I can.
I apologize for letting this error through and I’ll be putting in place some test guidelines so things like this don’t happen again.
If you have any questions please head on over to our forums and post. I’ll do my best to answer any that you may have.
