Adding Pilots using Copy and Paste

  1. Launch Mobile Safari on your iPhone/iPod Touch and visit
    https://www.eveonline.com/api
    Mobile Safari will connect to the EVE Online site via SSL to ensure that all your communications are secure. (Figure 1)

  2. Enter your username and password and click Login (Figure 2)

  3. Touch and hold on the screen next to your username. A blue square will appear around the Limited API section of the page and a Copy button will appear. (Figure 3)

  4. Ensure that the blue selection box contains the entire Limited API Key box. (Figure 4). If it doesn’t Capsuleer won’t find the information its looking for and will be unable to add your characters. If you need to, manually expand the box using the blue dot grabber points. Once the selection area contains the entire Limited API Key box tap the Copy button to copy your limited API key details into the iPhone/iPod Touch’s clipboard. (Figure 4)

  5. Hit the Home button to return to the Home screen and launch Capsuleer (Figure 5)

  6. Capsuleer will detect the API data in your device’s clipboard and will ask you to add any pilots it finds. (Figure 6)
